One Fun Day at TKPS

Many thanks to TKPS teachers especially our sister, Cikgu Muli, and staff for the warmest welcome & loving we received during our one day sale at their staff room.

On days like this, we feel so loved and appreciated. In the handmade world, especially in Singapore, handmade creations are sadly not appreciated as much as in the States or Europe.

SO...many many thanks to ALL TKPS teachers who have supported us greatly with open arms (and pockets ;p) My sister, Aisah and I 'heart' you guys!

Big Felt Roses

Mother's Day is coming up and I am browsing online for flower bouquets for my mom. Then it strike to me that I could make her one!

So I browsed through some of our old pics of flowers we have made and found these.

I think these would make a great bouquet! Only one thing is for sure.. i need to start making them before Mother's Day!!

How to make felt geraniums

Geraniums are one of our very first flowers couple of years ago. Then we stopped making them? If you asked me, I dont have the answer why either!! I love these lil poppies! Hence, I made a bunch of these and will be attaching them onto hairclips, headbands, shoe clips (if we find those clips that is!), and making those cute lil barefoot sandals for babies. Oh, not forgetting the brooch pins as well!

Prior to Simply-4-Love, I was just a stay-at-home mom taking care of my son and kinda happy with that. However, since my whole lifestyle is somewhat complicated - being a military wife - means we move from one place/country to another every 3 years, it was difficult to find employment and climb that corporate ladder. At the same time, I did not enjoy working for people. Hence, I started making flower hairclips and headbands and it grew organically over this past 2 years.

Currently we have plans in the near future for expansion - both in Singapore and U.S. Therefore, I am looking for mothers or anyone at all who has the passion to create and perhaps have their own home business eventually! All trainings will be provided. Step-by-step system will be taught to you once you qualify as our partners.
