But the daisies are sooo cute! 2" wide and 500 of them!!

After a month of cutting and pasting and adjusting and needless to say - many late nights, I managed to complete the order of 500 daisies for one of our clients, Bebebows.com.

These daisies looked so cute as brooch pins, hairclips or headbands. 

I have to say, it wasnt that difficult to make these at all. It was tedious in the cutting and pasting but once we get that in motion, it was not too bad at all. 100 daisies are mailed to our client each week for the whole month of June. 

Was a great bulk-making-daisies month! ;)

In between taking care of my 2yr old who insisted on sitting on my lap all te time, to other mother duties, I had alit of cutting done! And this is just the beginning!

When I first got the order for 500pcs of these flowers, the first thing in my head was 'I need to start rolling!'

The whole process of sourcing and buying of supplies took a few days.

Cutting strips took a few days.....

Our wool blend color chart

I have finally found a supplier for wool blend felt! All the way in UK!

I am using their color chart to share with all fans and customers. Wool blend felt are so much nicer to touch n feel and look much nicer for some flowers :)

Getting preps ready

I am so excited to get a bulk order of 500 daisies on Tuesday! And am anxious cos I am making them all alone!

My small and humble 'hobby' home based business is making appearances on many stores soon. These daisies are used by giant local grown company, Bebebows.com. I am honored to be producing for them.

I guessed there's gonna be lotsa measuring and cutting for the next few weeks!

Since the trips to the malls did not bring me much satisfaction in getting the actual things I wanted, I had to tweak my original idea of a 1) Pirate Ship 2) dinosaur theme 3) Monkey theme... In the end, it turned out to be a lil birdie & a monkey theme...

We made it to the big mall!

I woke up today with news that our new chiffon flowers and yo-yo & rolled rosettes have been tagged and will be placed at the big Takashimaya Mall. :)
