Some years back, I would probably be out and party with friends.. For the past 3 years, my countdown to the new year has been a quiet one, close to my most precious gift, my one and only son, Hadi Daniel.
I wish all family and friends a blessed new year and may 2012 brings more joy, success and happiness to all. Thank you for your support for Simply4Love. We started mid 2011 and strive to achieve better success in the new year.

4 more days to deliver the goodies
So, what's the most time consuming flower to make?? Drumroll ..,,
It's a tie!!! Ok ok I honestly think the dahlia is the most time consuming to make but my fav beaded poppy comes close in second!
First, we have to draw out the shapes on the felt. Cut it. Cut out the black felt backing. Cut out the black buds (middle circle).
Then we have to paste them into the nice poppy flower..
Sew them nicely on the seams.. On the bud circles, and the petals..
Sew the little veins for the poppy beads.
Last we have to cut out another backing to cover the back before attaching an alligator clip.
Voila!!
Happy making!
I certainly love making mine and had abt 15 made. Definitely not all 15 in one day! Maybe if we get a die-cut machine, it could be possible.... Hmmmm... Tempting. Can't find one is singapore tho.
Cheers!!

Rolling rolling flowers
One more week to another expo event!! We have decided to include our new yoyo flower designs and the rolled flowers.
Today, all the kids left for the pool; Hadi included! That means I have all the peace and quiet in the house to make my flowers.
Oh, I also managed to sneak a trip to the fabric mall to get more fabrics for the yoyos and roses!! How awesome☺๐

A lil yoyo action
Have you heard of a yoyo flower before? Like most of the people I know in Spore, you probably have no idea what it is. But if you are in the crafts world ( I'd like to think im I lil crafty-happy at times), then u know exactly what I mean! These yoyo flowers are so simple yet can be so beautiful.
I bought some fabrics on Saturday ad came out with these.
